Cooked X800 WM61 ROM by Adonix

Mình thấy bản ROM do Adonix tạo khá nhẹ. X800 e đã thử qua các bản ROM nên có nhận xét sau:

- ROM 6.0 của Eten chậm nhưng khá ổn định.
- ROM do bác PQ tạo, V14 ổn định nhất và nhanh ROM 6.0 gốc. V15, V16 thỉnh thoảng bị treo. Lúc đầu chưa biết treo ở đâu, nhưng khi dùng bản 2.0, 2.1 do Panot tạo thì nghĩ treo ở Today. V14 của bác PQ chưa gặp lỗi gì.
- ROM 2.0 của Panot thỉnh thoảng bị lỗi. Bản 2.1 đỡ lỗi hơn nhưng cũng thỉnh thoảng treo ở Today. Reset lại thì lại chạy bình thường.
- ROM do Adonix tạo nhẹ, RAM lúc nào cũng trống khoảng 25-26MB. Mình dùng thấy ổn định và có lẽ nhẹ nhất trong các loại. Dưới đây là thông tin về bản đó:

• It has XIP 5.2.20931 and OS 5.2.20269 extracted from Eten X900 Russian rom (thanks etenclub.ru for it).
• Resources and language file come from HTC diamond touch v5.2.20931.
• Page pool: 4MB
• Free RAM: 32.5MB after first boot
• Storage: ~187MB.

I recall here that it's not my goal to strip the rom. Instead, i wanted to build a full one so users who are interested in customizing their rom could be able to do so. I can upload my kitchen for interested ones wink.gif

What i did is:
* Removed some programs from EXTROM which can be downloaded and installed later. I included Battery Status, GPRSWizard, Satellite data update, Wireless Manager, Quickbar and Pocket Digital Clock. These files aren't installed by default.
* Installed Audio Driver Path, Ravik Sound Mixer, GreateVK Touch Screen Driver and Camera patch.

This rom seem to be fast and stable after two days of use. Please try it and share your feedback/problems.

XP users run flash.bat. Vista users follow these steps before running flashvista.bat:
1. Run "Windows Mobile Center"
2. Goto "Connection Settings" under "Mobile Device Settings" and un-check "Allow USB connection"
3. Set your pda in bootloader mode (Power + Voice Command + Reset)
4. Plug the device into usb. SDcard shouldn't be installed
5. Run "flashvista.bat"
6. One completed, reste your device and undo step 2.

I forgot to change the rom paths in flashvista.bat. Please open it and overwrite the old code with this one:

V2 theo tác giả nói thì đã chèn font tahoma vào. Và font đó ko hiển thị được một số phần mềm giao diện tiếng Việt như Lịch Phù Đổng. Tác giả có bản V3:

em Up bản 3.0 Full mà làm gì có IE6 đâu, mà cái Voip gọi được nhưng ko có tiếng là sao, họ nghe được em nói nhưng em không nghe được họ nói, còn không nghe được cả tiếng đổ chuông, hik

em có thắc mắc về cách up ROM. khi màn hình đến chổ "OS programmed OK", có phải đó là lúc em nên reset lại máy không? nếu cần, soft reset hay clean reset? cảm ơn.

Giữ nút nguồn và chọc reset là xong. Mà cũng chẳng còn cái gì làm đuợc ngoài việc này cả.
